Locations: Most books can be borrowed from a central location, subject areas: Technology, Computer Science, Structural Engineering, Design, Economics, Social Sciences, Law, Health Sciences; Stock: Electronic media available in the university network, via VPN or EZproxy: 450,000 e-books, 16,000 e-journals, databases for literature research (often with full texts), factual databases; Services: Tutorials on literature research, procurement, administration (information literacy) available for all students; Space for every type of learning: Carrels, quiet room, small and large group work rooms.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Our students can participate in the general university sports programme of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). For the course programme as well as information on registration, please contact the Institute of Sports Science and Sports at FAU: https://www.hochschulsport.fau.de Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. The general university sports centre offers a varied programme of grass-roots sporting activities, and participation in various university championships is also possible (organised via FAU). Some faculties also offer individual programmes and activities. You can find out more about this from your departmental student organisation.
