Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Heidelberg University students can take part in the sports programme at the University of Mannheim and the University of Teacher Education in Heidelberg. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. We want to get as many students and staff as possible moving and excited about the diversity of sport. Health, exercise, motor learning and social interaction are our central themes. In the heiMOVE project, we are developing the "University Sports of Tomorrow" with innovative programmes for all members of the university (including audio coach, podcasts, personal training, camps and events). The programme is open to students of Heidelberg University of Education and the University of Mannheim.
