Stock: Approximately 37,000 printed media systematically made freely accessible; More than 138,000 e-books; Over 44,000 licensed e-journals; Over 31,000 e-videos; 107 current subscriptions to printed journals.; Services: Most e-media are also accessible to Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT) students from off campus via authentication or VPN and thus 24/7 worldwide. Other services: Individual support for the students at the combined IT and library information desk and also from home via a bookable Zoom session, iPad loan for members of Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, reference management in a team licensed with Citavi, two free to use book scanners, 50 workspaces and five individual booths.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. For the students of the HFT Stuttgart, participation in the sports programme of the University of Stuttgart is also possible. Participation is subject to fees. In the winter semester, the “Bauschullauf” traditionally takes place jointly with Esslingen University for students and graduates in Jungholz. This is intended for skiers who can compete in both cross-country skiing and giant slalom, as well as for snowboarders.
