Special features regarding the library

Locations: Paul-Wittsack-Str. 10; Stock: In addition to 101,000 books and 130 journals in printed form, the library offers more than 160,000 ebooks and 15,000 ejournals.; Services: The search for scientific literature is supported by numerous specialised databases. The Teaching Library regularly organises training courses to promote information and media skills. Everyone across campus can use the Citavi literature management programme free of charge. All valid DIN standards, VDE guidelines and ISO standards are available in full text.

Special features regarding university sports

The university does not have its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the University of Mannheim sports programme. The sports activities are held mainly in cooperation with the IfS (sports institute of the Universität Mannheim). There are some university teams for the various team sports. The sports programme runs every semester. Nearly all courses are free of charge; participation in some is possible without registration.
