Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. In addition to the university sports courses, there are also various cooperation courses with regional sports providers, including pole dance and martial arts. The University of Siegen has a cooperation agreement with the DSHS Cologne. Participation is subject to fees. The University of Siegen has a structure that is unique in Germany: In addition to university sports, students are offered a certificate course 'Sport', which can be completed as an additional qualification to the main course.
