Foreign language center and courses

There is a foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Russian, Japanese, Arabic, Catalan, Romanian, Modern Greek, Basque, Swahili, Wolof. In addition, there is a separate department at the University of Tübingen called "German as a Foreign Language and Intercultural Programmes". Special features regarding university sports

The university offers its own sports programme. Participation in sports programmes within Baden-Württemberg on request. Cooperations with other universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg in the area of excursions. Participation in digital programmes is possible throughout Germany. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. You will find a varied and affordable sports programme with us. Qualified trainers can attain further qualifications through the University Sports' mentoring programme (ECTS points). Various major events (team event 100 km relay race, competitions, challenges, etc.). Courses in the context of Student Health Management (BeTaBalance), with a focus on mental health and "bicycle" strategy. A wide range of competitions offered by the German University Sports Federation (adh), where participation is supported by us. A redesigned weight room for open training, as well as guided workshops.
