The university offers its own sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. A wide range of sports, quick reaction to and uptake of trends, boathouse on the sports campus, surfing and sailing close to the centre, water sports day, university sports festival, dance festival with performances by all university sports centre dance groups, gala with performances by university sports centre groups, university leagues, award ceremonies for the most successful sports personalities and top athletes with awards presented in person by the Vice Chancellor, university health day.
