Broad-based basic education and sound methodological training in the Bachelor; teaching of social and cross-cultural skills and solid foreign-language skills; Preparation for professional practice through career-specific specialisation in the Bachelor of Economic Sciences; Highly-specialised Master´s degree programmes; Integrated work placements to some extent; Possibility of studying abroad at partner universities; Combination of academic education with practical applicability.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Cooperation agreements with 75 partner universities, including 64 in Europe via Erasmus+, and worldwide; 255 exchange places (including 220 places Erasmus+) for students of the faculty (as of Nov. 2019); Advice from the International Office of the faculty, American-African-European Summer and Winter Schools, language courses in Business English, in the Bachelor's degree course in European Studies students learn an eastern or eastern central European language, in the Master’s in Management and Organisation Studies a stay abroad is planned in the 3rd semester, double degree programme in the Bachelor's of Economics.
