Special features regarding teaching

Seminar-style teaching; High practical relevance of the teaching through practicals assigned to lectures; Student projects are integrated into the course; Some laboratories are open to students for free practice and project work.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Approximately 10% of the professors of the faculty are foreign. The university's International Office supports students with stays abroad or guest students, e.g. with housing searches or contact with government authorities. Each semester a course is offered in the department by professors and staff of the University of Pilsen. Research cooperation with universities abroad (e.g. Lomonosov State University Moscow, Tokyo University of Science).

Special features regarding the equipment

The laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment, which ensures the best training opportunities. There are a total of 33 subject-specific laboratories.

Special features regarding research and development

In numerous research laboratories, the students can participate in current projects. Possibility of completing a Master's in Applied Research or a cooperative doctorate. The faculty is focused on efforts to integrate research and teaching as much as possible.

Support for founders

Professors advise students with corresponding start-up plans. The Start-up Center of OTH Regensburg also offers support for company start-ups.
