Our research focuses on the sustainable and future-proof use of natural resources. Expertise in biodiversity research and terrestrial and aquatic ecology, a broad range of analytical methods and established cooperation with regional and supra-regional institutions enable the interdisciplinary study of the effects of human activity on ecosystems. The knowledge gained is transformed into practical solutions and recommendations for action for various challenges.

Uni Koblenz is certified as a family-friendly university. The legal mandate to eliminate structural disadvantages for women is implemented through the Equality Plan of the University of Koblenz.
