Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

Basic area: Training in the analysis of cross-sectional data and teaching of sociological theory. Areas of specialisation: Choices in sociology/social sciences. Practical relevance: e.g. research seminar to strengthen professional, cooperative skills (experiment design, data collection and analysis up to the evaluation and presentation of the results in English). Interdisciplinarity and cross-departmental thinking: Courses such as International Economics and Business Administration can be taken.

Business ethics is a required subject in all our Bachelor's degree programmes and ethical questions have long been integrated in all existing core courses. Our "Giving Voice to Values" approach teaches students to follow ethical principles, to develop an awareness for their own responsibility and to be able to ethically reflect on their own actions.
