Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Small groups, manageable number of first-year students, and thus individual support. Preliminary course to determine prior knowledge, student tutorial during the period of study. Laboratory exercises with small groups, good teacher-student ratio. Lectures with exemplary and exciting experiments and current issues such as environmental aspects (e.g. air pollutants), regional peculiarities (e.g. rocks, drinking water), important historical events and developments, important people in chemistry. Specialist didactic events involving an in-depth exchange with cooperation schools.
