The Master's degree programme has a strong research component. The first-class sociological research represented at the institute is encompassed in a clearly structured and integrative study programme that allows for different focus areas. Integration of research projects in teaching. Project staff regularly offer courses on the specific research projects in the master's and bachelor's programmes. Work as a student assistant in numerous research projects. In addition, there are opportunities for collaboration in the numerous non-university research institutions in Munich (e.g. German Youth Institute, Max-Plank Institute).
