Special features regarding teaching

The course offers a balanced combination of psychological and business expertise for successful practice and meaningful jobs.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Additional qualification in International Business Psychology: An optional semester abroad at an international (partner) university rounds off the study offer. Students who successfully complete three graded courses taught in English at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, a Bachelor's thesis in English and a semester abroad, as well as their practice semester abroad, receive the additional qualification in International Business Psychology.

Special features regarding the equipment

Management and use of excellently equipped research labs as part of the degree course, e.g. for experiments, practical work, etc.: Customer experience tracking; Future commerce; Work-Life Robotics

Special features regarding research activities

At the interface between humans and robotics, the Work-Life Robotics Institute uses application-oriented research to design effective interactions in socio-technological systems.; Students are familiarised with the lab and the possibilities for research and their own further development in this field early on in their studies.

Support for founders

The OGFLab is the launch pad for a business start-up at the university. It is a co-working space, makerspace and incubator in one. Start-up teams from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences will find a cross-faculty place here where they can try things out, connect with others, work and grow for a semester with professional support and appropriate equipment.; Individual advice and coaching for business founders provide flanking support

Other special features

We promote individual career paths, e.g. in the Career Centre and Start-up Office. Students with children are supported: e.g. family room, “Sommersprosse” nursery. We promote sustainability through a variety of initiatives, e.g. in the Green Office: Informs, connects and supports students and university staff in developing further in the field of sustainability and coordinates projects and initiatives.
