Special features regarding teaching

Project-based learning approaches and skills-based learning allow students to learn skills and competencies at their own pace. Didactics enable interdisciplinary teaching scenarios, especially with industry partners.

Special features regarding the international orientation

In 2023 we will start an Erasmus+ project. We are currently preparing collaborations with international universities in teaching and research.

Special features regarding the equipment

Students have their own lab in which they can work individually and solve their own research and development questions. The lab has modern laptops, monitors, etc. Students also have access to a 3D printer and a VR lab. As an example of the digitalisation of the working world, students can write various programmes for a robot arm and test them in real-world use. Specialist databases are made available via the library system and regularly updated.

Support for founders

All students who want to start a business can take an additional interdisciplinary module in which they learn basic knowledge of business start-ups and develop their own business concept. For all start-ups, we offer a mentoring programme by professors.

Other special features

To increase the number of female students, grants can be awarded together with industry partners. The Equality and Inclusion Officer is available to all students and staff for related enquiries, access arrangements or if they have any problems. XU Exponential University has been certified as a climate-neutral university by Climate Partner for 2019-2021. The university attaches great importance to the implementation of climate-neutral and sustainable goals in all areas of activity.
