Special features regarding teaching

The Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Mechatronics is located on the Lothstraße campus in the centre of Munich. There are 7 Bachelor's and 5 Master's degree courses offered. Education in the faculty is characterised by a high degree of practical relevance. Small study groups of 20-40 students enable a personal learning environment with close support, project assignments and many work placements. As a large faculty with international partner universities, industry partners and many labs, we offer students a great deal of opportunities to develop in line with their interests.

Special features regarding the international orientation

In the international degree course in Production and Automation, a group of German and French students study together, alternating annually between Munich University of Applied Sciences and the EPF in Paris. Students thus get to know the working procedures, language and culture of the partner country for 4 years in an international study group. This promotes integration and networking between the German and French study group.
