Special features regarding teaching

The degree course in Laboratory and Process Engineering covers the entire field of chemical-analytical and (micro-)biological basics through to process-engineering applications in teaching and research. Very well-equipped labs are available to students for practical exercises.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Internationality and mobility are promoted particularly through the completed introduction of internationally used, accredited Bachelor’s degree programmes and instruments such as the ECTS and the Diploma Supplement. In addition, Riesa University of Cooperative Education maintains numerous partnerships with international universities and takes part in exchange programmes. We work with our partners to organise student exchanges for the practical phases (outgoing). This is supplemented by guest lectures in English at both foreign locations and at the University of Cooperative Education.

Special features regarding the equipment

There are very well-equipped laboratories available to students for practical exercises.

Special features regarding research and development

Research is carried out at a vocational academy primarily through cooperation with the student training companies in the practical semesters.
