Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

The laboratory equipment is also extensive and lectures are held in small groups. This allows instruction to be carried out in a seminar style with accompanying tutorials. This ensures high practical relevance and motivates the students.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The University of applied sciences uses established university networks to promote its cooperation policy and the development of sustainable partnerships. It is a member of the DAAD, the GATE Germany marketing consortium and the German Rectors' Conference. The University of applied sciences is active in the Erasmus+ programme and has signed the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. There is an International Management professorship in the Engineering Science department. In addition, the department is active in the International Virtual Academic Collaboration and is involved in both virtual teaching and presence-based international teaching with international cooperation partners.

Special features regarding the equipment

The University of Applied Sciences has a powerful computing cluster with, among other things, state-of-the-art graphics cards for researching and developing AI systems. Powerful computers make it possible to simulate solutions for the processing and analysis of large amounts of data or the development and experimental evaluation of complex algorithms. Open source and widely used commercial enterprise software is used. Database for researching international literature and collaborations with international research institutions allow students access to complex data sets for the development of data science applications.
