Special features regarding teaching
The spacious and bright lecture halls are fitted with the latest technology; Very well-equipped laboratories; The Horb Campus takes part in a variety of competitions with projects of its own and collaborates on interdisciplinary development

Special features regarding the equipment
Students have continuous access to rooms and the latest programs and computers (CAD, CAM, simulation, Matlab,...) for studying, practising and working. The degree course in mechatronics has two laboratory spaces with an extensive array of basic components and measuring instruments. Special equipment can be borrowed from the laboratories of other courses of study if required. The campus library is very well stocked, students have online access to essential literature (e-books) and all standards.
Support for founders
The students at the DHBW enter into training contracts with dual partners. The dual partners of the DHBW invest a lot of time and money in the training of junior staff throughout the degree through training allowances and offering practical training. It would make no sense and would be counterproductive for both the university and the dual partners if the DHBW, as a dual partner of the training companies, were to support students in setting up a business.
