Theoretical findings are applied to specific products in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries: Planning of production plants and supply facilities (e.g. fermenters, filling plants, packaging lines etc.); Application of basic process engineering operations (e.g. conveying of liquids and solids, heat transfer, separation processes etc.) to individual product requirements and production processes; Design of tanks, pipelines and containers
