Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Integration of theory and practice through interlinked theory semesters and practical phases. Highly topical teaching by experts from the field. Intensive exchange of teaching staff/students, intensive advisory services, active integration of strategic industry partners, alternative competence-oriented forms of examination. Teaching content updated continuously by comparison with practice and academics.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

Subject matter experts from the large professorship of the DHBW nationwide as well as experts from German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), KIT and companies discuss their subject area in the courses.

Special features regarding the equipment

Highly up-to-date technical equipment for practical projects in partner companies. Media equipment for current topics and teaching laboratories in the degree programme (digital technology, software development, human-machine interaction), as well as availability of necessary online databases for specialist literature through the library.

Special features regarding research and development

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence (ZfKI) was founded in 2022. This is where interdisciplinary AI projects in research and teaching are brought together and carried out.
