The theoretical teaching content is partly supplemented by practical exercises in the Skills Lab. This improves the transfer of theory into practice. The groups are usually small. As a result, intensive guidance is possible.

The Nursing degree courses have a skills lab, a simulation unit for nursing situations in practice. Work processes in the intensive care unit, in geriatric care and nursing or in obstetrics can be demonstrated and practised in a realistic environment. In addition to different sizes of nursing beds, various simulation dolls, a fully equipped nursing bathroom, a handicapped-accessible kitchen and a variety of equipment and nursing aids are available. In this way, practical course content can be practised directly.
