Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

The greatest special feature of the Physics department in Lübeck is its very pronounced interdisciplinarity. All teachers of the adjacent subjects (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology) regularly and intensively exchange ideas with then physics department. The connections are made particularly clear as a result.

Special features regarding the international orientation

For the planned master's degree, the majority of the courses are offered in English. Close cooperation between teachers and groups worldwide enables students to complete project work placements abroad. This is actively supported by the university and the head of the programme.
