Cooperation with local companies enables students to experience a programme with high practical relevance. Through highly topical subjects such as digital production, everything related to the energy transition and e-mobility, international management with intercultural management and change management as well as digital marketing and distribution with the topic of product management and technical purchasing, students are optimally prepared for the professional world.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Practice semester abroad, high percentage of international students through partnership with SGU Jakarta. In addition, the faculty offers international degree courses in the Bachelor's and Master's programmes.

Exchange universities for stay abroads

Beijing University of Technology, Peking, China; Swiss German University, Jakarta, Indonesien.

Research is conducted by the faculty on all topics in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and regarding the energy transition and e-mobility. Research also takes place in the field of digital marketing and distribution, as well as ERP processes. In addition, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, which is operationally involved here, conducts in-depth research on all topics of production.
