The Department Family, Child and Social Work is dedicated to working on future-relevant social issues and answering questions from current research. In accordance with the mission statement and the profile of the university, the department pursues an interdisciplinary research approach: Openness, multi-perspective and striving for multi-methodical approaches - this is of particularly important to us.

Other special features

The challenges in health care require interdisciplinary approaches of the stakeholders involved and a willingness for different professional groups to work together. The profile of the MSH is therefore characterised by a consistently interdisciplinary approach. Our aim is to provide an education in medicine, the health professions and all professional groups working in interdisciplinary teams that does not stop at the boundary of one’s own respective discipline.
