Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Balanced academic degree programmes with a strong practical component; obligatory company practical placement included in the Bachelor's degree, ten weeks, supervised and quality controlled; internal practical placements/projects; around 50 partner companies, continual feedback from industry; already considerable freedom of choice in the Bachelor's degree course (no "school-oriented" studies); Small groups, good staff-student ratio. Direct contact with lecturers, e.g. with individual course guidance.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The Faculty has implemented a new programme with the international Master option “Data Analytics”. It is taught entirely in English, and is aimed primarily at international students from all over the world. In all IT study programs, students can take courses on Business Intelligence, Big Data, AI, etc. in cooperation with "Data Analytics" in the specialisation and elective area. This alone accounts for over half the programme and can be studied from an international angle. Further courses may be offered in English if necessary.
