Special features regarding the international orientation

Double-degree programme in the B.A. Cultural Industry / ICBS with Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Duluth (Minnesota, USA); Double-degree programme in the M.A. in cultural studies with Aix-en-Provence and TDU in Istanbul. Double-degree programmes in the M.A. in European Studies with Malaga (Spain) and Strasbourg (France). In the BA in European Studies Major there are 3 separate spots available for students in Málaga (Spain), Aix-en-Provence (France) and Budapest (Hungary); in Växjö (Sweden) there are even 5 partner sponts available for students.

In addition to well-equipped computer rooms, a multimedia lab and video conferencing equipment are available. Training with real systems (e.g. SAP, data warehouse systems, document- and content management systems); Use of the latest technologies in system development (including for mobiles and smartphones).

Other special features

The options and specialisations in the degree programmes present a wide selection of cultural areas and socio-historical subjects; This can be seen internationality through structural partnerships such as the HSP programme of the DAAD, various summer schools and a range of double-degree programmes. There are also identity-building events for first-semester students in programmes in cultural studies, providing orientation for further study and facilitating the choice of concentration.
