The Centre for Applied Sciences (CASE) brings together teaching and research centres under one roof at departmental level. These include the Centre for Empirical Research (ZEF), Centre for Management Simulation (ZMS), Centre for Digital Transformation (ZDT), Centre for Media Management (ZMM), Centre for the Intelligent Use of Information Technology (ZINI)

Two international fields of study / focus: Business Administration-International Business, Business Administration Service Management with a focus on International Services Management.

Research is carried out in an application-oriented manner and in cooperation with companies, other universities and research institutions at regional, national and international level. In addition to solving existing company problems, the inclusion of the latest findings from research in teaching is also guaranteed. The network of innovative teaching and research centres, CASE, supports students in the application of social science methods and their own projects as well as the implementation of professorial research projects for teaching/socially relevant issues.
