Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

The bachelor's degree programme and teacher training courses for primary and secondary levels 1 and 2 and for vocational schools are offered in close networking. As a result, it is often possible to switch seamlessly from BA to LA degree programmes and vice versa.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

The two master's degree programmes allow students to pursue further academic qualifications. Because of its location in the "SaarLorLux" region, there are many international students as well as a large number of students in the international High Performance master's degree programme.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Due to its location in the Saar-Lor-Lux triangle, there is an overall high international student population, and the focus is still on Europe. Lecturers have a wide range of international contacts which provides opportunities for simplified stays abroad, services through the Welcome Centre/International Office for international first-year students and all students; university network "University of the Greater Region" and the "Transform4Europe" alliance to increase student mobility.

Our laboratory rooms with specific measurement technology are mainly available for the field of Kinesiology and Training Science.

Special features regarding research activities

Interaction of cognition and motor functions, age simulation, self-assessment and processing strategies of cognitive and motor functions.
