Special features regarding the equipment
The excellent sports facilities of the Potsdam Olympic Support Point are used, we have our own three-area hall for games training; a new apparatus gymnastics hall is under construction.
Special features regarding research activities
The University Outpatient Clinic is the continuing education centre of the Brandenburg Regional Medical Association (Landesärztekammer) and licensed as a medical examination centre of the DOSB (German Olympic Sports Confederation). Cooperation with the Cognitive Sciences area of excellence (Psychology, Linguistics) on inter-disciplinary Movement Science topics. Specialist research in the fields of Sport and Health, Rehabilitation and Prevention of cardiovascular diseases and mental illnesses.
