Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

The first semester consists of basic courses to facilitate the transition from school to university.; Excellent staff to student ratio in the degree courses and very well-equipped facilities.; Students can complete a double Bachelor's degree in teacher training in the subject of mathematics.; A wide range of subjects with a focus on algorithmics.; Students are taught of theoretical principles with a strong application focus; very good contacts with business and industry professionals.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

Wide range of courses, great freedom of choice, very good staff to student ratio, close links to AI.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Planned English-language, consecutive Master's degree programme in Computational Mathematics; Advisory concept: Help with the search for housing, help with study feasibility, regular information sessions, personal guidance for studies, contact to the iStudi coach project (counselling with regard to studies, career guidance and career counselling especially for international students).

Dedicated room with 31 workstations for supervised practice with didactic network (exchange of image content, remote control of the PC workstations); 3 dedicated computer rooms for students for independent practice with 72 workstations, 46 of which have recently been renewed and 10 workstations with 27" monitors for group work; Anteroom with installation areas, sockets, monitors for student laptops; Media centre with studio and news rooms; Chair area: various partially renewed computer servers, computer clusters, database computers & GPU computer clusters; Use of university computing resources via the internet.
