Special features regarding the equipment

Since the summer semester of 2008, the Computer Science department at the Universität Bayreuth has had a new building at its disposal which is equipped with several specialised labs (robotics, parallel systems, computer graphics) in addition to lecture theatres, seminar rooms and computer pools. All lecture rooms have air conditioning. The courses are carried out using state-of-the-art technology (microphone, multimedia presentations, projector, overhead projector). There are cameras in the lecture theatres so that courses can be recorded in order to be able to subsequently upload the course, for example, to the e-learning programme.
