Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

The SWF University of Applied Sciences offers the model of career-integrated joint studies developed by North Rhine-Westphalia universities of applied sciences. This allows professionals to organise their studies flexibly. It consists of a combination of self-study with the help of didactically prepared study materials (mainly as written assignments) and tailored face-to-face phases with seminars, exercises, internships, etc. They maintain contact with fellow students and university teachers through regular face-to-face events. The profile is developed through the choice of different fields of study.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

The joint degree programme offers high-quality master's degree programmes and is geared to the requirements of working professionals: The Institut für Verbundstudien (IfV) helps students obtain an internationally certificate of academic degree while they work, without the need to take time off or interrupting their career.
