Inter-disciplinary Research: The focus of the research is on active ingredients against infectious diseases (e.g. neglected tropical diseases) and cancer (development of inhibitors of protein-protein interactions, HDAC inhibitors), bioactive marine natural products, innovative drug dosage forms, paediatric dosage forms and medicines as well as medicines for special patient groups, and research focus on solid drug forms, new active ingredient developments, natural material optimization, development of pharmacological tools.
