Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Students at our institute experience teaching using an electronic learning platform, interactive lectures, a high proportion of practical work, examinations during their studies and close cooperation with other subjects (e.g. bioinformatics, biochemistry, palaeontology,...) as well as other departments and non-university research institutes (Max Planck Society, Leibniz Institutes, RKI Robert Koch Institute, BAM Federal Institute for Materials Testing, Federal Institute for Risk Assessment,...).

Special features regarding the international orientation

Our institute has contacts to many partner universities and a very high percentage of foreign students through our bi-lingual degree courses. The institute is open to forging new international contacts.
