Prosthetics: – research focuses on clinical studies on (1) treatment concepts (including composite bridges) and (2) interactions of different medical devices (oral soft tissue); Orthodontics: – biomechanical research on orthodontic appliances, research in 3D imaging/diagnostics and in the area of facial/chewing muscles, development of an e-learning platform; ongoing research projects on clinically relevant issues in dental conservation, e.g. optimal selection and processing of bonding systems in restorative therapy.
