SPIRIT mission statement:Student-oriented/practice-based/international/research-driven/inter-professional/in Tübingen; Admission in winter and summer. Focus on teaching practical skills and working with digital solutions for 3D design, subtractive and additive manufacturing/3D printing, patient documentation, dental billing, X-ray, modern skills lab with video feedback during practical training, machine-based root canal treatment, vertical condensation technique, patient availability for all courses and exams with complex cases and high patient satisfaction, above-average patient contact time

Subtractive and additive manufacturing with large-scale equipment for semester groups; CAD laboratory with 16 seats for digital planning, 3D design, documentation and diagnosis; "Phantom" spaces for free skills training/practice in all semesters; Modern S1/S2 labs with fluorescence microscope; Fundamental cell biology research in regenerative medicine; Equipment for material characterization (wetting test nanodroplets, ICP, white light interferometer, scanning electron microscope); Affiliation with the Centre for Light-Matter Interaction, Sensors & Analytics (LISA+)

Clinical and experimental research in Endodontology: establishment, characterisation and preventive therapeutic influence of dental biofilms; applications of modern imaging techniques (e.g. microCT, DVT); clinical registers for long-term examination of implants, all-ceramic restorations and combination dentures. Study centre for application-based research in additive manufacturing of personalised medical devices (competence centre); experimental research on regenerative medicine in MKG surgery. represented in DFG with Clusters of Excellence, CRCs and Research Training Groups.
