Elective courses, compulsory elective courses, internships, seminars, bedside training, block internships, clinical internships, shadowing, skills lab, participation in student initiatives and AGS such as "Tommy alone at home", "teddy bear hospital", etc., wide range of student assistant positions in all areas of medicine, self-learning kits, blended learning in digital formats, student participation in academic self-administration on an equal level, simulation patient programme. Very well equipped skills lab; diverse range of offerings, close support, student tutors.

Special features regarding the international orientation

ERASMUS+ programme with 20 European partners; 13 non-European partners; international summer school since 2004 (with Brown University and East Tennessee State University); free practical year abroad, international research cooperation, development aid projects, e.g. in Cameroon, Congo, Namibia, Togo, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, EU-CONNEXUS.
