Special features regarding research activities

Focus areas include e-government & public services, data security & data protection as well as information security & awareness. As a result, the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau has, among other things, analogue and digital game-based learning scenarios to raise awareness of safety-relevant topics. A further research focus area is technology and innovation management with reference to regional development and entrepreneurship. The extensive infrastructures with different makerspaces and co-working spaces with corresponding formats regarding content are a USP.

The TH Wildau offers a start-up service for all departments. Advice on start-ups, workshops and coaching are available. Ideas and prototypes can be developed in a start-up workshop and ViNN lab.
