Supplementary exercises are regularly offered to balance out overly large differences in performance, at least in part.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

In-depth knowledge from the field of the application of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science: from automation systems to robotics and mechatronics, from embedded systems to modelling and visualisation, from cluster computing to network technology to security concepts. You will complete this master's degree programme with a Master of Engineering degree. Particularly qualified graduates of Industrial Informatics have the opportunity for admission to a doctoral programme in cooperation with one of our partner universities.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The FB Technik and the HS E/L maintain numerous contacts with international universities, institutes and internationally active industrial partners. The International Officer of the teaching unit and the International Office help students integrate a period abroad into their degree course. In the Master's degree programme in Industrial Informatics, the new specialisation "Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems" offers an English-language branch. Prerequisite: B2 language level. International students are expressly welcome. The network of partner universities is currently being expanded.
