Special features regarding teaching

Broad range of key areas with 12 specialisations: 2 in civil justice (family and inheritance law, civil procedure law), criminology, state and administration; 4 in business law (labour law, tax law, antitrust and copyright law, banking and capital market law), IPR and comparative law (such as East-European law), international and European law, foundations (philosophy of law and legal history), health law.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Several institutes with a focus on international law: Walther Schücking Institute for International Law, Institute for European and International Private and Procedural Law, Institute for East European Law.
