Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Choice between a software and a data science project, although it is also possible to complete a project that has not been selected as part of an elective. Completion of individual compulsory modules in English in order to prepare for the predominantly English-language elective and the English-language master's degree programme. Hybrid exercise group offerings for all compulsory modules.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

Research-oriented teaching through a research project (participation in a working group) as part of the master's degree programme. Special features regarding the equipment

The entire campus is equipped with WiFi. The institute has several generally accessible computer rooms. One of these rooms is intended as a student workroom only. The others can be used if they are not occupied for courses. In all of these rooms there is HP ThinClients together with the software and electricity and network connections used in the basic education. Labs for special applications are also available to the work groups for research and teaching, such as databases, multimedia, FPGA, model railways, real time systems.
