Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

There are three interdisciplinary professors, each devoting half their time to mathematics and half to computer science. Joint degree programme in mathematics and computer science, with each department likewise accounting for half the course of study.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

Students in the mathematics master's degree programme work in small groups and receive individual support. As a result, graduates of the programme are well prepared for challenging national and international research and development work in the field of mathematics.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Established Erasmus exchange programmes worldwide, direct integration into international research programmes for final theses, lecturers with diverse international contacts which provides opportunities for simplified study abroad, international exchange of lecturers, services through the Welcome Centre/International Office for international first-year students and all students; university network "University of the Greater Region" and the "Transform4Europe" alliance to increase student mobility.
