Special features regarding the equipment
The institute offers modern teaching rooms, computer rooms and rooms for group work or joint self-study. The technical equipment is continuously updated and is state-of-the-art. WiFi is available on the entire campus. Institute and university offer a research infrastructure with state-of-the-art hardware and software, which comprises, for example, several cluster computers and GPU clusters.
Special features regarding research activities
The Potsdamer Universität has links with more than 20 research institutions in the region, including the Max Planck and Fraunhofer institutes, the Research Centre for Geosciences Potsdam and the Potsdam Institute of Climate Research (PIK). The department is involved in inter-disciplinary research cooperations and follows basic research and cooperations with partners from industry. The founder network of the university supports graduates and academics at the Institute with plans to start new companies.
