The mathematics professional profile offers a thorough undergraduate bachelor's degree programme in mathematics. As a result, bachelor's degree students can choose a specialisation in later semesters based on their interests and thus optimally prepare for a subsequent master's degree or a career. Stays abroad are actively supported through, among other things, a mobility window in the degree programme and individual counselling/support in the Mathematics Department.

Our very international degree programmes are taught entirely in English. We offer a broad range of basic and advanced lectures in a wide variety of areas. The Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science degree programme allows students to complete several modules of the actuarial training provided by the German Actuarial Association (DAV) during their course of studies.
