Support for founders

The Faculty supports the students’ preparation for the practice of law by participating in student legal services. Law and Lake and Refugee Law Clinic are the student legal advice clinics currently in place. This gives students an chance to work on real cases and acquire a multitude of skills for a future career as lawyers. Management skills are trained as well – the Faculty provides conceptual, financial and facilities-related support, but current business is managed and processed by students.

Other special features

Four judges and prosecutors assigned full-time to teaching, thus strong incorporation of judicial and prosecutorial practice in teaching; additional close links to practice through honorary professorships held by lawyers in Patent Law, Copyright Law, Contract Design with International Relations, especially of Common Law; In addition, numerous teaching positions for industry representatives in the areas of specialisation. Interdisciplinary certificate course on digitalisation and sustainability.
