Special features regarding teaching

Professional relevance: The courses offer a comprehensive look into learning and education at different ages (from early childhood to old age) and various educational institutions (day care centres, schools, social education facilities, continued education, further education). It features a strong link between theory and practice. Research orientation: The degree course provides an in-depth introduction to quantitative and qualitative research.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Students can participate in the extensive concept of partner universities of the Universität Bamberg. The department offers an international degree course which can be completed entirely in English/French.

The department has all necessary PC labs, WiFi, projectors, smart boards, etc.

The faculty, with its strong focus on research, has been able to enlist the support of research groups, graduate schools and many individual projects in the past few years. in addition, there are close research ties to the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LifBi). The degree course takes place in a research-oriented environment.
