Special features regarding research activities

Offers an attractive and broad interdisciplinary spectrum for researchers. The research work is stringent and has a systematic inter-disciplinary and international focus. Research is currently being conducted in several projects funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Among other things, gender roles are being explored, and aspects of ethical consumption are also being highlighted. Structured doctoral education, including in the Research Training Group "European Taxation", leads to a doctorate. The doctorates supervised by the professors have an extensive inter-disciplinary and international focus.

Support for founders

Since May 2008, the Centre for Entrepreneurship Research has been supporting students, staff and alumni on their way to self-employment. There is a co-working space for creative business founders, providing ample space for their ideas. Networking is an essential factor of success, especially for companies in the start-up phase. We therefore offer business founders and those interested in starting a business a wide network of expert partners nationwide and within the university.
