Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

The TUM School of Natural Sciences offers a wide study offer, with undergraduate courses in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry and Food Chemistry. Newly renovated practical training rooms with excellent equipment enable a high degree of practical orientation. The research-oriented training takes place using the highest quality equipment (e.g. 12 NMR spectrometers, also with 750, 900 and 1200 MHz (planned)).

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

The TUM School of Natural Sciences offers a wide study offer, with consecutive courses in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry and Food Chemistry. Newly renovated practical training rooms with excellent equipment enable a high degree of practical orientation. The research-oriented training takes place using the highest quality equipment (e.g. 12 NMR spectrometers, also with 750, 900 and 1200 MHz (planned)).

Special features regarding the international orientation

The TUM School of Natural Sciences for Chemistry offers numerous opportunities geared towards studying abroad. Regardless of whether you want to study or complete a work placement abroad, you have a range of programmes available. Under the Erasmus programme, we partner with 53 foreign European universities in 20 countries. The TUMexchange programme includes academic exchanges with universities in many countries.
