Special features regarding teaching

Excellent basic training in the fields of Computer Science and Mathematics in addition to the core subjects of Business Informatics and Business Administration; Highly practice related. Very many specialisation options and elective courses.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The Faculty offers a Master´s degree programme in Autonomous Systems via an English-speaking programme that is very popular internationally. Further partnerships (including dual degrees) are currently being planned to expand the international range. Intended partners: Dalhousie University, University of New Brunswick and possibly German-Jordanian University. In addition to the International Office, the IT department supports incomings and outgoings with an in-house team for international matters (customised solutions for stays abroad).

Support for founders

The faculty maintains close contacts to the university's Business Campus, which provides start-up support to students and graduates. The Faculty also cooperates with the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs, which is also located at the H-BRS. It offers regular workshops and lecture series – some interdisciplinary, some subject-specific.
